Why The Last Dance?

In sports, "The Last Dance" typically refers to a team's or player's final season, tournament, or game before retirement or a major transition. The phrase gained widespread recognition from the ESPN documentary The Last Dance, which chronicled Michael Jordan's final championship run with the Chicago Bulls in the 1997-98 NBA season. The term was originally coined by Bulls coach Phil Jackson, who named that season "The Last Dance" because management had already decided it would be the last year that team would play together.

There is no retirement for any of the boys but this last season marks the end of the road for their age group before they transition into Colts and they intend to make it a season full of rugby memories that will last a lifetime. The highlight being the tour to Parma, Italy, in October 2025.

This is amazing, seeing how the Burton boys have grown and gone from strength to strength. As always a huge thanks to our brilliant coaches plus George and Harry, and of course Jono for putting this together. Can't wait for the new season.
